Well thats the car fully run in and back onto synthetic oil after another oil and filter change. The rev limiter is gone and after a Remap, its pushing out 362BHP. Not bad at all for a daily driver with five useable seats, a boot and Isofix child restraints!! Who says an Impreza isn't practical...
Im really pleased so far as there is a big noticeable jump in power and the engine note sounds incredible. Who needs a stereo anymore?! In all seriousness though, the fuel economy seems to have improved as well as I have been driving the car all day and petrol needle hasn't dropped as quickly as it used too.
The turbocharger is kicking out as much boost as it can and max boost pressure is 1.5 Bar so I think in the next couple of months, the turbo and engine management system are going to be the next couple of things to be upgraded to push it well over the magic 400 figure.
