Well after 3 months sitting in the garage, I got the MOT passed and got the car back on the road.
Initially after starting up, I had a good check round but after a couple of minutes found something leaking from the engine bay......petrol!
After tracing the leak back to the fuel pressure regulator, it was seeping slowly out from the diaphragm, lucky not spraying out as it could have hit a rather got turbocharger and went up in flames!
It was a simple fix and I tightened up the securing bolts and checked all the screw threads on the regulator and after a few hundred miles more, its still going well.
Thats why it really is good to have a constant check under the hood! The more you modify, the more problems you encounter...
