A few more workshop pictures


Just another shot if the turbo in place along with the discharge pipe shown in the bottom left of the picture, that leads down to the front mount intercooler.


A hardpipe was connected to the turbo compressor discharge, after is passes under the inlet manifold. (Red)


Here is a custom made bracket....


....so that the jacket water header tank could be fitted back in place around the custom turbo.


As with any modifying, once you buy the kit, there are other original items that need to be moved or replaced to allow the new parts to fit. As with any Jap car, space is at a premium in the engine bays.


Above is a nice shot of the new elbow connection pipe to join the downpipe with the existing 3' exhaust system. The small pipe beside the down pipe is the "screamer" pipe from the external wastegate which will dump the excess exhaust gas once the turbo spools and build the required boost pressure on the compressor side.
