After first start up, the car had not been used in 4 months, sitting into parents garage under a sheet.
I did all the usual routine of checking water/oil levels etc but after turning the key and letting the engine sitting idling, I quickly seems lot of fuel was leaking from the fuel pressure regulator. The Sard regulator is held together with rivets and a couple of hex hed bolts which must have slackened off over time.
I tried to tighten them but the heads had threaded so I removed the regulator and used pliers to remove the rivets and bolts. After that it was a simple job of replacing the rivets with M4 nuts and bolts. That solved the leak and the engine fired perfectly first time with no problems.
