Winter is really kicking in over here in N.Ireland, so you have to make the most of the daylight when you can!
It took all day just to strip out the back seats, and after removing the rear struts, I couldn't remove the top bolt on the strut, even with the springs compressed.
Ill upload a pic tomorrow of the very easy, special tool I used to slacken the bolt. Basically just a deep socket with two flats grinded into the side to enable me to hold it with a spanner and at the sam time, use an Allen Key to secure the strut while I slackened the bolt. Simple, but only when you know how!
Anyway, the springs were changed on the rear and I continued by removing the front strut brace in preparation for the front shocks coming out tomorrow.
The other major problem you will find is that after 8 yrs of driving, there is a lot of rust....so the strut bolts don't come out easily!!
