Well now that the STi is sitting in the garage awaiting collection and mapping, I decided that it was time to get a daily driver again as I sold my 370z recently and had some spare cash. After lasting a week without a car, I decided I just can't exist without one.
So I decided not to go for something elaborate, instead, Im buying the car I have wanted since I was 18. YES, it can be considered a mid life crisis, and yes, most people hate them....but I love it, and thats all that matters, is what the owner thinks!
Its a 1999 WRX STI Type R Version 6 in white.
I paid the deposit today and the car is due into the UK on 11th January from Kobe, Japan.
Registration will then get under way and I can collect the car 6 weeks later!
Cannot wait to have a genuine JDM coupe Type R!
This will not slow the progress of the PROJECTSTi build, its basically to keep me behind the wheel of the type of car I love, while allowing me to afford to upgrade the beast in the garage. Win/Win I think.
