I have to admit that I have been pretty poor lately at updating the blog. Mainly, due to the usual work committments getting in the way!!
After driving the Type R, I decided to lay it up in rental storage, as it was an incredible machine and too good to use on the road as a daily driver. I was quite tail happy compared to the normal generation of scoobys and could easily catch you out. The engine seems bullet proof, and the importers that searched it out for me did and amazing job. There wasn't a mark on it and after 16 years of living in Japan, it was on Irish soil. I decided to get all the fluids changed at my local garage and then gave the paintwork an serious detail (not that it needed it.)
I managed to take a few great HD night shots of the car around town before putting it into storage but I need to get them photoshopped and edited and bit so once calms down in 2 weeks time Ill get them uploaded.
I also took the "Beast" to a drag day down at Bishopscourt drag strip and managed to run a 13.2 second quarter mile at 120 mph. Not a bad day for a beginer to the sport, but with practice, and more power I hope to lower that time!
Again, Ill get the pictures and video up soon, but I just wanted to post this so that you know I haven't forgotten about updating the blog!
