Well after testing the Beast, I found that there was pretty bad hesitation once I hit 2700rpm and upwards.
The last job I finished was the spark plugs.....so.....
Out they came. I measured them and the gap was the same as the originals. However, there was signs of overheating on no 2 and 4 cylinders on the passenger side heads.
I checked the gap on the new HKS plugs and they were0.7mm, but exact, bot 0.66 or .060 like the stock plugs, so I took and chance and installed them, as the manual says they should be 0.6mm to 0.8mm.
First start up gave a smooth idle and after let the engine warm, I took it for a blast down the road and all was good.
I used HKS MIL40 plugs, which are 2 steps colder than stock. so far so good. These should hold up to the Nitrous abuse as well.
Its been a good day.
Minus the £80 for the plugs.
