Engine removal

Today was BUSY!

I drained all the fluids, engine oil and water coolant, then kept the car on jack stands, removed the exhaust and turbo, including up pipe from the headers. Then after removing all intercooler pipework, it turned out easier to remove the inlet manifold AGAIN (Im becoming a pro at this job) then wiring loom.

I took a few videos with my camera so I didn't forget where all the crank case breather pipework connected too.  There are a lot of pipes to remember, so don't try! Label or take a pic. It will save time later.

After that, I had look around and was running low on energy so decided to call it a day.

Tomorrow I think Ill start by removing the radiator to give a little extra clearance for pulling the motor on the crane.

Ill also need to  remove the bell housing bolts and install the car jack under the gearbox and transmission so it can be raised enough to allow the dowel pins in the bell housing to slide out.
