Well I couldn't resist.....these wheels are definitely Marmite. You love them or you hate them. I love them.
They are Rays C-Ultra 3 spokes.
I remember seeing them in the 90's on all the big tuner cars coming out of Japan like Supras, Mr2's, Skylines, RX7's and of course the Impreza.
The one that started my obsession in finding this wheel again was the Trial Motorsports Try-R wide body Impreza. It was in a Max Power DVD......so that gives you an idea of the era.
I don't know why, but since then, I wanted the White Impreza coupe, Blitz Nur spec exhaust and of course 3 spoke wheels. The original wheels were Yokohama Advans. Those wheels now got for circa 1800 GBP. You could buy some cars for that. My next choice was these, at a sensible £280 plus postage. Bit of a bargain, seeing as the tyres are still good apparently.
Anyway, Ill probably receive them after Christmas what with postal delays and the seller is busy. He at least communicated that they would be a while in the post, but as long as they are mine, Ill wait! Im becoming quite the pro at finding rare automotive bits at auction!
