My cable arrive from New Zealand for the Apexi ECU.
It included the serial to USB adapter, all software drivers and the program, FC Edit to let me get into the ECU and load the map.
I started off by backing up all the data read from the ECU. Then I was able to do some driving and log some data. It is a basic program by modern standards but simple and effective. Really nice a clean/simple and within minutes your reading and logging data.
I just did a few pulls in 3rd gear, and recorded data, but as ever, work commitments left me short on time.
My friend is going to help me out and map it up for me next week, so it will be good to have the car mapped for UK fuel. Its pig rich at the moment with the AFR's running around 10 on full boost! Plus a nice puff of turbo chuff on boost out the exhaust!
Once I get some free time over the weekend, Ill do some proper power runs and log the data. I also need to figure out how to wire in the AFR gauge so that the software can log the AFR during the data logging runs on boost.
