The Beast... Version 3

Well after months of lack of funds, indecisions and lack of parts supply in general...... who would have thought that the cheapest and easiest option was to call my local Subaru dealership!? One call later and I got an amazing deal on a brand new EJ257 block! 

Bought and paid for...... let the build commence!! 

I have decided not to go all out on this build and want to keep a very high safety factor. Meaning build in some some long term reliability so the projected power level is expected around 400/400 on a 500 capable block. Apart from the obvious cost of rebuilds, the time factor alone is putting me off a high power build, as there is point in having a trailer queen that spends longer on axle stands than on the road. It neeeds to be driven!
