MR2 Turbo

Things have taken a strange turn....

The "Beast" is ready to go for its MOT, so its just needs tax and insurance. Then it can be run in and the map tweeked.

In between a wedding (my own) fixing the beast and also doing some serious work on a few family members cars, a rare find came up at auction and I went a little crazy and bought car number 4.

Although it wasn't planned, it was a car on "the list"....a sort of cars "bucket list" I have to complete before I pop my clogs!

Its an 1995 MR2 GTS Turbo.

Currently on the boat from Japan now, but apart from an upgraded drivers seat and some wheels arch liners, the car is totally stock engine and body wise. Plus all books etc are included, so it will make a nice daily driver and allow me to take the TYPE R off the road and get her back into storage. It also has some nice VOLKS rims so that should help contain the rear wheel power, at least in a straight line! For a 22yr old car, its in great shape and don't forgot, horse power has no age limit. 250bhp 22yrs ago is still pretty much 250bhp now if its been looked after. Most modern cars don't kick out that much power as stock. Looking forward to installing a fuel cut defender and boost controller and massaging a few more ponies out of her.......

I really should have focused on insuring the Beast, but sure....you have to go crazy every once in a while!
