Mapping and the first 1000 miles

So my friend Peter took some time out to twerk the car for me last night. We decided to fiddle with the anti lag and also map the car for a little more power in a bit of a "shake down" test.

After a few power runs, the car now sits at 1.2 Bar and with only 5% WGDC, it feels seriously fast, and very smooth. (No lag or aggressive spool up, its all very smooth coming on power)

We started by fiddling with the anti lag settings to give the car a brutal gun shot sound when the system is armed and with the Decat pipe, its aggressively loud. So bad in fact that our ears were ringing from inside the car and we had to take a break.

We then did a few power runs and ended up removing some fuel to give it more power and make sure the AFR targets were safe. Once the fuel map was efficient, we started adding just a little boost and did several power runs to make sure everything was safe and most importantly, consistent.

Its amazing how each engine can differ wildly. I used the last engines map as a base to then tune from, however, this new engine ran extremely rich through all parts of the map. You can see from the current pic below, that the fuel has been removed in the cruise and boost regions, which still gives safe readings on the wideband but also gives better efficiency and power. Thats the two lower spikes on the 3D chart.

I need to do more power runs and then fine tune it for 1.2 bar but for now, its a good result.
