Now that the car is in the body shop, its due to go under the knife (angle grinder) this week.
I really don't even want to think about the sort of work that needs done to hack the pristine arches apart before painting and bolting on the wider flares!
I decided I needed to focus on the wheels and get them ordered up. ABW Motorsport who supplied the arches were great and recommended the ideal size of wheels and tyres to go on the car after work was complete. I wanted to stay away from an aggressive stance, but at the same time, fill the arches nicely.
I went for 18x10 ET20 wheels: Japan Racing JR12. Black with polished lip
265/35/18 profile tyres.
I decided on budget tyres for now to get me through winter as I want a tyre that can shed some water for the Irish winter. Once we hit summer, Ill get a set of Toys R888's ordered up for the drag season!
