Brake upgrades

Im starting the brakes tomorrow and plan to replace the OEM brake lines with stainless steel braided lines. It will be interesting to see if they provide any change in the pedal response, as a lot of people say they are a great upgrade to stock Brembos.

I also have some new Brembo pads to go in as well, so I took the chance this afternoon to jack the car up and get the wheels off, to save some time tomorrow. It also allowed me to cleaned up around the wheel arches and check for any other problems.

During the mapping, the car over boosted quite quickly just as it was spooling, so perhaps the Waste gate duty cycle (WGDC) was too high in the lower rev range, as the data logger didn't even record the max boost pressure, it was just a quick spike. Luckily I had a MAP limit set at 1.6 Bar an that cut the ignition.

Anyway, I have reduced the WGDC and once the brakes are fixed, Ill start pushing some more boost through it.

Seeing as the map Im starting with is 409BHP @ 1.46Bar, there is plenty of room left to make power before hitting the peak boost target of 1.6 Bar.
