I finally got round to ordering the decat for the MR2.
This one from Brooks Racing Development was dearer than your usual ebay items, but includes a flexi joint as well as having the bellmouth widened to ensure that the waste gate can fully open on boost.
A lot of the cheaper cants actually restrict the waste gate and so you can overboots, which can be pretty terminal for your engine! A lot of people end up taking a dremell tool to enlarge the bellmouth, only to find that the non-flex decat cracks due to heat later on.
You get what you pay for!! Don't get cheap and do the job twice due to cheap parts failing.

Also a big thanks to Paul at TCBParts for literally sorting out every nut and bolt for replacing the exhaust for me, as well as the infamous Hoses from hell....the coolant hoses hidden behind the exhaust manifold that connect the oil cooler to the coolant system. The are a true nightmare to replace......hence the name. I figured I should buy them now and can try to have a go at them, once the exhaust is off.
