Tein coilovers

I managed to finally get some time to fit the Tein coilovers into the beast.

Thankfully all of the nuts and bolts in the suspension came loose easily as I prelubricated them with WD40  to soak over night. As I had previously replaced the sorings, all the bolts had a healthy dose of anti seize spray so it was incredibly easy.

The shocks came out easy enough, but it is a little difficult getting the new ones back in! Easiest way is to fit them into the mount and bolt the 3 top mount bolts down first to hold them in place, then wrestle with the lower section to get the hub and bolts lined up.

I did measure each side to ensure both front and rear were equal however, I have decided to get them close enough then leave the car sitting for a few days to let the springs settle in as they usually sink a little and the car is lower once they bed in. Once that’s complete I’ll jack it up and make final height adjustments. As it sits now, the front is too low and the rear is too high but that’s the fun..... trial and error! https://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1_j03DoexH-kpxRvve6rImCa31C26W0V5https://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=19AqCth8lfmDDyhuVNGbPDEspXNY5xjZahttps://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1Alohglm4OP6Pjx9Ddh_7t8Mt_HjbawCchttps://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1223N8yHLS1IZibHFOTrOobYom0BknxoRhttps://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1ZI_SxQ7_CKkk4I8uRmCVWIZ1ZJQH5BgGhttps://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1GHCtN3riiUCgbqez75cUiFUcMEa1-n_Hhttps://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=16Kd2UTAezTr84ssXmrW8lTI1F_D0v72X
