I managed to get some free time to finish the HKS Turbo timer type-1 install into the Type RA. This allows you have both a turbo timer and also a digital speedo that gives both Kph and Mph. This is the key for MOT time when your dash board must have Mph and also keep the stick look of the Japanese dials and dashboard.
The dash and odometer remain in Kph as it left Japan and the turbo timer gives a digital Mph reading the keep the inspector happy. Everything is tied into the oem engine ecu harness with the wires run behind the dash to the turbo timer controller hidden just under the steering wheel binacle. The timer display is then stuck to the dash in full view when driving and it a wire is left in sight for that ultra clean OEM look.
